FAQs

How do I measure my spa for the calculator?
Toggle Icon

Measure the inside waterline dimensions of your spa rather than the outside edge of the cabinet or shell.

For length and width, measure across the water surface. For depth, measure from the waterline to the spa floor and enter an estimated average water depth.

How do I calculate average water depth?
Toggle Icon

If your spa has a mostly uniform depth, measure from the waterline to the spa floor.

If the depth varies because of seating, steps, or a footwell, take a few representative depth measurements and average them before entering the result.

Do I include seats, steps, loungers, or a footwell?
Toggle Icon

You do not need to measure each feature separately. Enter the main inside-waterline dimensions of your spa and use an estimated average water depth.

Keep in mind that molded seats, loungers, steps, footwells, and curved walls displace water, so the calculated volume may be higher than the spa’s actual water capacity.

Which spa shape should I choose?
Toggle Icon

Select the shape that most closely matches the overall water surface of your spa.

If your spa has an irregular or non-standard shape, choose Irregular / Custom for the closest estimate.

Why is knowing my spa volume important?
Toggle Icon

Knowing your spa volume helps you calculate the right amount of chemicals, understand filtration and circulation needs, and maintain clean, balanced water.

How accurate is the spa volume calculator?
Toggle Icon

The calculator provides an estimate based on the spa shape, dimensions, and average water depth you enter.

Actual water capacity can vary because of molded seats, loungers, steps, footwells, curved walls, and equipment areas. For the most accurate capacity, refer to your spa manufacturer’s specifications when available.
